Description:
Merlot wines tend to be deep in color, full-bodied, high alcohol and low tannins. The aromas and flavors can have hints of plum as well as chocolate. Merlot is a very popular wine because it does have lower tannins than its counterpart Cabernet Sauvignon, and its easy to drink with a medium acidity.
