New Zealand Wines
New Zealand Wines-
New Zealand is further south than Australia so the climate is cooler than it’s neighbor to the north. The two island of New Zealand both produce wine, with the North Island producing red wines around Auckland and Hawkes Bay, as well as white wines from the Muller Thurgau, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties.
On the South Island is Marlborough which is the country’s largest and most important wine region. The region is the top production zone for Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines.
