About the Winery
Riverbench Vineyard was established in 1973, when the first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were planted on the bank of the Sisquoc River, known as the Santa Maria Bench. Riverbench sold their fruit to other wineries in the region. In 2006, they began producing their own wines in limited quantities, which are available exclusively through their wine club and tasting rooms in Santa Maria and Santa Barbara, California.
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Riverbench Mesa Pinot Noir 2017 has a light ruby hue with aromas of currant and red berries. The wine is soft and smooth with flavors of cherry, raspberry and mushroom. This is a really nice light Pinot Noir. Delicious!
