Syrah and Shiraz Wines

Syrah and Shiraz Wines
Description:
Syrah and Shiraz wines have grapes which produce deep colored wines that are full-bodied with firm tannins and aromas. The flavors can suggest smoked meat, roasted peppers or tar. In Australia they refer to the Syrah grape as Shiraz. Shiraz wines can be soft, medium-bodied wines with strawberry-like flavor that are quite the opposite of the Northern Rhone’s Syrahs.
