Tobin’s Review 2.5 out of 5
Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 has a very dark complexion. The wine opens with aromas of toast and blackberry, with sweeter flavoring of light oak and coriander. It is a very jammy wine, not overoaked but definitely has nuances of toasted oak. It is a good quality wine, it’s just not my cup of tea as I am not big on oak and can literally taste the barrels.
