About the Winery
Maison Joseph Drouhin was established by Joseph Drouhin in 1880. At the age of 22 he founded his own wine company with the goal to offer wines of great quality that would bear his name. He was succeeded by his son Maurice who began to establish a vineyard for the house by purchasing land in Clos de Mouches and Clos de Vougeot. In 1957 Robert Drouhin succeeded Maurice and gave the domaine its present dimension, by acquiring vineyards in Chablis. Currently Maison Joseph Drouhin is run by the 4th generation of the Drouhin family and has close to 90 appellations.
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Drouhin Chablis Domaine de Vaudon 2015 has a nice golden hue. I pick up notes of melon with a hint of anise on the nose. The wine bursts with peach flavors, has nice minerality, is crisp with a little acidity. Overall a very good wine.
Jeanine’s Review 4 out of 5
Drouhin Chablis Domaine de Vaudon 2015 has melon aromas. It is a dryer wine and I pick up a light melody of grapefruit on the tongue. Overall it’s a solid wine.
