About the Winery
Blakeslee’s property was once home to filberts and Christmas trees in the 1970’s and 1980’s. During the 1990’s the property was converted to Pinot Noir grapes and was named Quail Hill Vineyard. This highly regarded estate was purchased by Bill and Sheila Blackslee in 2005 and now bears their name while producing high quality wines.
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Blakeslee Estate Reserve Pinot Noir 2014 has a nice light purple hue and great legs. The nose is fruit forward with ripe cherry. The flavors are cherry with a little acidity. It is a nice wine, smooth with an acidic finish.
Jeanine’s Review 4 out of 5
Blakeslee Estate Reserve Pinot Noir 2014 is an amazing wine. It is a high quality wine and very smooth. I pick up aromas of cherry with a hint of vanilla. The wine is smooth, light and I taste a nice hint of vanilla. A very good wine.
