About the Winery
Blakeslee’s property was once home to filberts and Christmas trees in the 1970’s and 1980’s. During the 1990’s the property was converted to Pinot Noir grapes and was named Quail Hill Vineyard. This highly regarded estate was purchased by Bill and Sheila Blackslee in 2005 and now bears their name while producing high quality wines.
Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Blakeslee Vineyard’s Estate Pinot Noir V.2014 has a dark plum hue with aromas of mint, tobacco and cherry. The wine is soft on the tongue with flavors of plum and a dry cherry finish.
