Description:
Santa Cristina Sangiovese 2008 is comprised of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot, which makes the wine fresh, fruity and fragrant.  The wine is ruby red with purplish hues and the aroma is intense with ripe fruity and floral hints.  This wine is well structured with sweet tannins and a lingering fruity flavor in the finish.

Santa Cristina Sangiovese 2008 has plum aromas with a muddled cedar smell.  The wine is fresh with blackberry and plum flavors that combine for a smooth wine with a nice aftertaste.

Santa Cristina Sangiovese 2008 is a light fruity red wine with a hint of that oak lingers.  Although there is a hint of oak the wine is not oaky and pairs well with quite a few dishes since it’s light and versatile.
