Mount Palomar Solera Cream Sherry has aromas of caramel, maple syrup, pear and fig with flavors of mandarin orange, bosc pear, hazelnut, caramel, maple sugar, orange blossom honey and toasted marshmallow.

About the winery
In 1969, John Poole started Mount Palomar’s vineyards in Temecula, CA. By 1975, the grapes were ready and he was able to produce the first wines. John’s son Peter took over operations of Mount Palomar Winery in 1985. Mount Palomar’s current winemaker is James Rutherford, and they continue to produce great wines in the region.

Mount Palomar’s Solera Cream Sherry has a dark tea colored complexion. The wine has both flavors and aromas of maple. This is a really good Sherry!
