About the Winery
In 1994, Ken Wright founded Ken Wright Cellars in Carlton, Oregon. Since that time they have achieved some high accolades. In 2012 Wine Enthusiast Magazine ranked ‘Ken Wright Cellars Abbott Claim Vineyard Pinot Noir’ as the #1 wine in the world; and in 2014 the Wine Spectator named Ken the ‘Master of Pinot Noir in Oregon.’

Ken makes his single vineyard bottled wines from 13 vineyard sites in the Northern Willamette Valley. While they are best known for their Pinot Noirs, they do produce other reds, whites and roses.

Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Ken Wright’s Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2019 has a light plum ruby hue with robust cherry and slight cranberry aromas. The wine has a full mouth feel that is offset by juicy tart cherry, slight oak, chocolate and vanilla notes. It’s a good wine, but is a bit tart on the finish.
