About the Winery:
Robert and his brother John Cockburn were successful wine merchants in Leith, Scotland. In 1815, they setup a branch of their firm in Porto named R&J Cockburn’s. The name would eventually evolve to Cockburn’s & Co. In 2006, the Symington family bought the vineyards and wine stocks of Cockburn, and in 2010 they purchased the brand as well.
Cockburn’s is well known worldwide for their high quality ports. The company currently produces 9-types of ports- Fine Ruby, Fine Tawny, Fine White, LBV, Special Reserve, 10 Year old Tawny, 20 Year old Tawny, Quinta Dos Canais Vintage Port and Cockburn’s Vintage Port.

Cockburn’s 10 Year old Tawny has a dark plum hue with a sweet alcohol aroma. The port is very soft on the tongue with flavors of maple syrup dominating the wine. Overall it’s quite delicious!
