Description:
Graffigna Centenario Malbec Reserve 2010 has deep red and purple hues. Complex dark berry aromas highlighted with delicate black pepper and toasted notes. Well-integrated tannins, round velvety body and a long, persistent finish. The wine has oaky notes that are the result of aging 50% of the wine in oak barrels for 12-months, which are combines with 50% of the wine that is unaged in oak.

About the Winery
In 1870 San Juan’s first vineyard was founded by Santiago Graffigna, an Italian immigrant. 15-years later Santiago used the railway to sell his wine and became one of the first in Argentina to establish a brand of wine. Since 1885 Graffigna has grown and received many accolades as well as still producing wines.

Tobin’s Review- 3.5 out of 5
Graffigna Centenario Malbec Reserve 2010 has a nice fruity aroma, in which I pick up the smell of cherries. It is a nice and smooth Malbec with a bit of tartness on the finish. I think it’s a fairly plummy wine, it’s good.

Jeanine’s Review- 3 out of 5
Graffigna Centenario Malbec Reserve 2010 has a light fruity aroma. It is a smooth wine, which isn’t oaky. It’s not too complex and is a lighter Malbec which I like.
