About the Winery
The Paring uses vineyard blocks that are either too young or don’t fit into the vintage style from Jonata and Hilt wines. Winemaker Matt Dees sources his grapes from three Santa Barbara regions- Ballard Canyon, Sta. Rita Hills and the Santa Maria Valley.
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
The Paring’s Pinot Noir 2017 has a plum hue with aromas of cherry and a light vanilla. The wine is soft, smooth and jammy with rich red fruit, cherry and a vanilla finish. This is a good wine with a hint of light oak.
