Campo Viejo Winery

About the Winery
In 1959, José Ortigüela and Bernardo Beristain founded the Campo Viejo Winery in La Rioja Spain. The first bottle was produced in 1961 and by the 1970’s Campo Viejo had become one of the most consumed wines in Spain.

Campo Viejo is currently owned by Pernod Ricard winemakers and their new state of the art winery was built in 2001. The company continues to celebrate the traditional grapes of Spain!
