About the Winery
In 1971 four families working together (the Kreimeyers, Markleys, Welches, and Trenhailes) planted the first grapes at Hyland Estates. The vineyard now spans over 200 acres with roughly 180 acres under vine; making it one of Oregon’s oldest and largest vineyards.

Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Hyland Estates Pinot Noir 2013 has a nice dark rich complexion. It definitely has more character than your average Pinot Noir. I pick up scents of lush fruit with a plum taste and full body ending.

Jeanine’s Review 4 out of 5
Hyland Estates Pinot Noir 2013 is really not that heavy in appearance. The nose is quite fruity with red lush fruits. I taste cherry with a slight tobacco finish. Overall it’s not a heavy wine, but is stronger than your average Pinot Noir. I think the complexities of this wine, with a more robust taste would pair great with a good steak!
