About the Winery
Gérard Bertrand was a professional rugby player from 1984-1994. During his career he even played on France’s national team. Upon his retirement he turned his focus to wine. His company Gérard Bertrand Wines owns 15 wine estates and he has become a renowned winemaker in Languedoc-Roussillon.

Gérard Bertrand’s Grand Terroir Tautavel 2017 has a light ruby hue with aromas of cherry and blackberry. The wine has flavors cherry, plum, blackberry, granite and a hint of oak. This wine is low in tannins, light, fruity has earthen stone on the post palate.
