About the Winery
Maisons Marques & Domaines USA, Inc. was founded in 1987 as the US sales and marketing arm for Champagne Louis Roederer and its California winery, Roederer Estate. In addition to Roederer Estate, they now market other brands owned by Maison Louis Roederer which include Scharffenberger Cellars, Domaine Anderson, Merry Edwards Winery, Diamond Creek Vineyards, Ramos Pinto, Delas Frères, Domaines Ott, and the Bordeaux properties of Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and Château de Pez.

While the group does sales and marketing for Maison Louis Roederer, they have their own proprietary brand Carpe Diem wines from the Anderson and Napa Valleys.

Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Carpe Diem’s Pinot Noir 2014 has a deep purple hue with small red fruit on the nose. The tongue is very smooth with cherry, a hint of blackberry and a little tartness on the end. Overall a very good wine!
