Description:
 Dolcetto wines are an every day wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy. The wine is light-bodied, dry, somewhat grapey and contains ample tannins. Dolcetto is often compared to Beaujolais, but is drier and more tannic than most Beaujolais wines.
The best Dolcetto wines are from the zones of Dogliani, Diano d’Alba and Alba.
