Description:
Viña Eguia Reserva Tempranillo 2015 has a bright ruby color with intense aromas. The wine has hints of licorice in a ripe red fruit bouquet with nuances of aging; spices, vanilla and Mediterranean herbs. It is round, elegant, and velvety with a deep and pleasant finish.

About the Winery:
The Vina Eguia winery was established in 1973 in Elciego, Spain and was later purchased by Bodegas Muriel in 2010.

Elciego is located in Rioja Alavesa which borders the Basque region. In Basque the word Eguia means truth.

Viña Eguia’s Reserva Tempranillo 2015 has a super dark hue. The wine has aromas of robust coffee, pepper, licorice and dark jam. The wine is soft on the tongue with a well-rounded light jammy and caramel flavor; but the end is acidic. Overall it’s a dry red wine.
