Founded in 2012 by legendary sports commentator Jim Nantz and wine industry veteran Peter Deutsch, The Calling was born from a shared passion to honor their fathers’ legacies. This premium Sonoma County winery specializes in world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley, as well as bold Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley.

Crafted by acclaimed winemaker James MacPhail, the portfolio is defined by meticulous vineyard sourcing and clinical precision, earning over 55 ratings of 90+ points since its debut.
