Description:
The Prisoner Saldo Zinfandel 2019 has a dark ruby color with bold aromas of black licorice, black pepper, cherry and baking spice. This is a rich full Zinfandel that is smooth with hints of chocolate and a soft velvet finish.

About the Winery
In 2000, Dave Phinney founded the Prisoner Wine Company in St. Helena, California. Phinney would sell the winery to Huneeus Vintners in 2010. In 2016 Huneeus Vintners sold the winery to Constellation Brands, which is the parent company of Robert Mondavi Winery along with 50% ownership of Opus One.

Saldo Zinfandel 2019 has a ruby hue with strong cherry aromas. This is a juicy Zinfandel with flavors of cherry, Graham cracker and light stone. Overall it has a light feel and is well balanced and full of fruit!
