Georges Duboeuf’s Beaujolais Nouveau 2024 has a light ruby hue with rich red fruit aromas and a light clover. The wine is light and juicy with notes of cherry. It is a little tart, and slightly dry, but overall, a very drinkable wine. They are great slightly chilled, and I always tend to enjoy the Beaujolais Nouveaus!

Georges Duboeuf’s Beaujolais Nouveau 2021 has a dark plum hue with aromas of moss and hints of mint. The wine is nice and light with plum and biscuit notes. Overall, it’s a juicy wine with a slight tartness to it. It’s going to be a good year for Beaujolais!!

Georges Duboeuf’s Beaujolais Nouveau 2020 has a deep flat purple hue with aromas of minerals, acetone and plum. The wine has light tannins with flavors of plum, light tea and a slight leather, followed by a dry finish.

Georges Duboeuf’s Beaujolais Nouveau 2019 has a purple plum hue. The wine has light berry fruit aromas. It is soft on the tongue with flavors of Bing cherry, strawberry and blackberry. The wine is slightly tart, is semi-dry, but doesn’t linger much in the palate. On the post palate I pick up hints of chocolate. For a young wine, it has quite a bit going on and overall it’s one of the better Beaujolais Nouveaus that I have had. This wine paired perfect with my smoked turkey on Thanksgiving day!

Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2018 has a nice inky purple hue. The wine is acidic on the nose and also has tart cherry aromas. It is smooth on the tongue, but is a bit dry. I pick up soft red fruits with a dry finish.

Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2018 is a very light red wine. The aroma and flavor are a bit difficult for me to pick-up, but it’s light.

George Duboeuf’s 2008 Beaujolais Nouveau is fruity and fresh.  I noticed that this years release was a bit watery tasting, but that is what you come to expect from the Beaujolais Nouveau’s.

George Duboeuf’s 2008 Beaujolais Nouveau was too watery for my liking.  I was not thrilled and would not waste a dime on another bottle of it.
