Description:
Valpolicella wines are produced in Valpolicella which is a viticultural zone of the province of Verona, Italy. Valpolicella ranks just behind Chianti in total Italian wine production. Valpolicella’s consist of three types of grapes- Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara. The most basic Valpolicellas are light fruity red wines, produced in the nouveau style and can be released a few weeks after harvest. Valpolicella Ripasso and Superiore are both aged wines.
