Picton Bay Pinot Noir 2011 Country- New Zealand State- Marlborough Brand- Brancott Vintage- 2011 Type- Pinot Noir Varietal- Red Wine Price- $ Average Wine Rating- 3 Description: Picton Bay Pinot Noir 2011 is made from grapes grown in the Marlborough and Nelson regions of New Zealand. The wine consists of red fruit flavors and enticing aromas which make for a smooth fine textured wine. Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5 Picton Bay Pinot Noir is a relatively dry Pinot Noir. I taste hints of plum and cherry and it is not overly sweet. The wine is light with aromas of black fruit. Jeanine’s Review 3 out of 5 Picton Bay Pinot Noir has a light fruity aroma. It lacks the vanilla aftertaste that I enjoy with my Pinot Noir’s; however, it has a smooth aftertaste. It is not as creamy and texturized as other Pinot Noir wines but it is a nice buy for the price.
