H&G Pinot Noir 2009 is a bright Pinot Noir with aromatics of red berry, currant and juicy plum which embraces a hint of smoky spice for a complex long velvety finish.

H&G Pinot Noir 2009 is light in color.  This Pinot is a bit more complex than the American Pinots, with plum flavors.  The wine is more acidic and has a bitter finish.  The plum is much stronger than the cherry in this wine.

H&G Pinot Noir 2009 is a good light Pinot Noir.  It lacks the creaminess that I enjoy from the California and NW US Pinot Noirs.  I would recommend this wine with heavier dishes or cheese and crackers, because it’s not sweet, and lacks the vanilla finish.
