Heidrun California Orange Blossom Mead is made from spring-harvested orange groves, which lend delicate orange blossom floral notes and a mineral finish. The result is a dry, crisply effervescent and brightly sparkling wine.

About the Winery
In 1995 Gordon Hull began making sparkling wines from honey in a warehouse in Arcata, California. In 2012, Gordon transported the Heidrun Meadery to Point Reyes. Gordon’s expansion has allowed him to create a commercial beekeeping operation and experiment in the cultivation of bee-friendly high-yield nectar crops. Heidrun Meadery currently produces four kinds of mead from buckwheat blossom, Lehua blossom, orange blossom and raspberry blossom honey.

Heidrun Meadery Orange Blossom Mead has a light orange honey hue with sweet notes of orange blossom honey on the nose. The mead is smooth, sweet and has a slight acidity with flavors of honey, tart Granny Smith apple and orange blossom.
