Cielo Malibu Estate Woodstock Collection Purple Haze 2008 is comprised of 80% Syrah grapes from the Russian River Valley and 20% Cabernet Franc grapes from Calistoga. The wine is a deep maroon color with aromas of homemade blueberry ice cream. The flavors consist of a smooth acidic body of espresso and raw milk chocolate followed by a blackberry jam finish.

Cielo Malibu Estate Woodstock Collection Purple Haze 2008 has nice flavors. It is a heavy, full-bodied wine with a nice fruity aroma. The wine is smooth with a little hint of oakiness which is not overpowering. I taste berries in this wine which help keep it smooth.
