About the Winery:
The Miguel family acquired Cazal Viel in 1791, and used the land for hunting. In 1970, Henri Miquel planted Syrah grapes on the land. Henri’s first vintage as wine producer and grower was released in 1980. Laurent Miquel would later take over and heads the company to this day.

Laurent Miquel’s Solas Chardonnay 2017 has a vibrant straw hue with aromas of apple, peach and pear. The wine bursts with flavors of peach, pear and chalk. Overall a pretty good wine, but not really worth the price.
